In two scenes:
1. Louise (Jennifer Hudson) is at a NYE party in St. Louis and all the people are black right as...
2. Mr. Big (Chris Noth) is in a lounge in NYC and all the people are white.
Geez Louise, where is the nuance? I know it's tough when you write in haiku, and it's a big-budget bang for you dollar, common denominator, non-Focus Feature movie, but srsly, not everything/one is so black and white. I suppose <---strikethrough this is my axe to grind.
On a related note, I'm officially banning the word "sassy" from 2009.
